- Lost /Found pet? What to do if you find an animal on its own.Years ago a homeowner came to us and asked “what do I do with an animal I found in the community?”.How should they go about finding the owner of that pet? We started a “pet’s page” on our website. www.diamondhillcommunity.com ,under pet’s page. This was a way for pet lovers to show off their 4 legged, fine feathered, or amphibious friends. Although most lost pets are dogs or cats all pets are welcome to show off for the community. Placing a photo with your contact info allows a fellow member of our community to contact you and safely get your pet home. If you find a lost pet please take the time to look them up on the site if their photo is not there then, you are welcome to post their photo along with your contact info. In addition to that any flyers need to be placed in the community center on the posting board. Please don’t tape anything to the gates, boards at the gates, or the community center doors and walls. Also please remember the limit is 2 pets in a residential home this is per Hillsborough county ordnance and our by-laws.
